From an Unknown Newspaper:

Edgar E. Champion Married at Utah

Bride Comes All the Way From England to Wed Man of Her Choice.

Distance is no barrier to love and although the seas intervene, it grows on. A little romance that sprang up years ago in Merrie, England, culminated in the Salt Lake City on the 25th of last month when Edgar E. Champion, who formerly resided here, was united in marriage to Miss Annie Roberts, who came all the way from England to wed the man of her choice. After the ceremony was performed the happy young couple left for Mammoth City, Utah, where the groom is employed and they are now comfortably situated in a cottage furnished for them before the arrival of the bride.

Last Saturday evening Mr. and mrs Champion gave a wedding reception at their home and twenty five of their young friends were present. The groom was formerly associated with W.H. Andrews in the fruit market on Elm street in this city and left here two years ago to accept employment in Utah. His many friends in this city will be agreeably surprised to learn that he has joined the ranks of the benedicts.
