Born February 7, 1910, Mammoth, Utah, to Francis Robert and Alice Mary Patience. Married Ellen Jane Champion, March 28, 1930. Member Methodist Church. Employed as a serviceman for Mountain Fuel Supply Company.
Survivors include wife, son, George Edward, Idaho Falls; daughter, Mrs. Corinne R. Hathaway, Granger; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur J. Patience, Seattle, Washington; sister, Clara P. Caison, also Seattle.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m., at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates. Funeral directors, Memorial Estates Mortuary.

 Kearns–Graveside servics for George L. Patience, 65, of 4738 W. Hoffman, Kearns, who died Wednesday, May 5 1976 at his home after a long illness, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500(??) S. Redwood Road.

Mr. Patience was born in Mammoth on Feb. 7 1910 to Francis Robert and Alice Mary Patience. He married Ellen Jane Champion on March 28, 1930

He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was employed as a serviceman for Mountain Fuel Supply Co.

Survivors include his widow; one son and one daughter, George Edward Patience, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Dorice R. Hathaway, Granger; four great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister. Arthur J. Patience and Mrs. Clara P. Calson, both of Seattle. -Provo Daily Herald, 5 May 1975
